Our work at the Health Promotion Directorate at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora to reduce alcohol-related harm is comprehensive in its approach. It includes national marketing campaigns, resources, and tools to support legislative requirements, community action, and health sector agencies as well as alcohol-related advice and research.

National Guidance on Alcohol Promotions - Off-licensed premises
This guidance sheet about is alcohol advertising, promotions, activities and events that are likely to be considered acceptable or unacceptable in off-licensed premises under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. The Act has offences and penalties for certain ‘irresponsible’ alcohol promotions or activities.
